The 35th Annual Meeting of the Plant Growth Regulation Society of America (PGRSA) will be held at the historic Hotel Whitcomb, San Francisco, California, August 3-7, 2008. The meeting will feature four symposia:New Insights on the Physiological Basis of Fruit Quality. Moderator: Matthew Fidelibus, UC Davis.
Delivery Systems for Plant Growth Regulators. Moderator: Franz Niederholzer, UCCE.
The Science of Plant Biostimulants. Moderator: Carol Lovatt, UC Riverside.
New PGRs for Ornamental Plants. Moderator: Brian Whipker, North Carolina State University.
Each symposium will include invited speakers and contributed talks, and the popular Industry Update session. The program will feature an informative blend of basic and applied research, which researchers and practitioners will find stimulating and informative. There will also be a poster session, and student awards. Entertaining and informative tours and events will be offered, and as is customary at PGRSA meetings, good food and good company can be expected.
